Switch to Secure Cloud Computing Solutions

If your business isn’t saving its information and data to the cloud, you should consider switching to a secure cloud solution. Using the cloud allows you to store all business information in a secure infrastructure that your staff can access, no matter where they are. It is excellent for in-office work, as it removes the need for bulky servers, cables, air conditioning and power suppliers to manage server rooms. But it is even better for remote work for your staff to access the files and information they need to do their work from home. They won’t need to store any professional files on their devices (which could pose a security threat) and can access workloads securely.

Go Remote

Throughout the Covid pandemic, many businesses had no choice but to let those who could work from home do so. However, many people found that this worked for them. From the employees’ side, remote work cuts out commuting time and costs. From the employer’s side, remote work means you don’t have to fork out to cover commercial office space and other associated overheads. Consider switching to permanently remote working contracts.

Of course, if you’re going to provide your team with laptops and equipment that they can use from their own homes and internet connections, you need to make sure that there are clear guidelines on what devices employees can and can’t use while they’re working from home. There should also be guidelines on where employees can use these devices, whether they use their internet connection or any other areas that could lead to data compromise.

Staying up to speed and ensuring your business transforms positively and progressively is critical for your ongoing success!
