Pickaxe Crypto Miner
I was browsing Tiktok like I usually do most evenings, and I came across something of interest. An app by Nathaniel whos also known as @nanobytesinc https://www.tiktok.com/@nanobytesinc?lang=en on the Tiktok social media platform. What intrigued me, as it did many others, was mining crypto via your Android smartphone. Sorry iOS users, this is not for you at this time.
Nathanial has been making numerous Tiktoks about the app, the development, the course correction, the daring journey of helping everyone attempting to use it. Crypto mining isn't widely available via mobile devices until now. Pickaxe Miner aims to make it as easy as possible for someone to start mining cryptocurrency with little to no effort.
The App
The application Pickaxe Miner is available here. It's been designed to be as easy as possible to use.
Pickaxe Miner does require you to have unknown sources enabled so that you can install the APK. If you are unaware of what an APK is or what unknown sources are, you may want to skip this.
Once you have the application installed, it will detect and determine the best crypto to mine. You can then click on “Start Mining” to get you going. Once the process starts, you'll see your hash rate and the shares you've completed. All this gets converted into Monero (XMR) as your form of payment.
From there, you can sign in to your Google account to keep track of this information.
Crypto mining is a long process at times, and it will depend on how well your device can generate that. You'll need to muster a minimum of 0.003 Monero before you can cash this out to your crypto wallet.
The entire process is as seamless as it sounds, hardly requires any to no effort on someone's part. Nathaniel, as mentioned in a few videos that Chinese smartphones may not all work.
