An interesting app surfaced to empower kids. Giving them a voice to speak on the subject of climate change. Take a look at the release below:
As we hear more about environmental challenges than ever before, more and more children are feeling overwhelmed by environmental challenges and the future of their planet. Climate-related anxieties can be particularly troublesome for young children, who have no way to express their concerns, and often struggle silently. And, many parents are unsure of how to approach these issues with their kids.
Today, Earth Rangers, a Canadian environmental charity focused on kids, is excited to announce the launch of its new app, designed to provide kids, and their parents with a safe place to learn, talk, and act for nature. The app is free, and houses over two dozen fun and impactful missions that take the app experience offline by engaging kids in activities like shoreline clean-ups, battery recycling drives, conserving energy, creating butterfly gardens, and many more ways kids and parents can meaningfully contribute to a better environmental future.
Apps and programs like Earth Rangers enable parents to begin conversations about conservation with their kids and create the space to vocalize emotions about the state of the planet. By bringing the issue to light, emotions and thoughts can be more effectively understood and managed. The app is available now on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
