New Essential accessories released – HD Earphones, Fast charger, Essential phone dock and more. This is all happening while CES 2018 is in full swing. For some that might not be aware CES is the Consumer Electronic Show which features some of the new tech toys will be seeing on the market. Initially, the only thing that was available with the smartphone was the 360degreee camera. New Essential accessories released
The Essential Earphones HD features a digital USB-C connector, support USB Audio Class 2, and use a 9.2mm High-Resolution driver. So you can enjoy listening to your music in high-quality on your Phone – or even on your Mac or PC. And the included ear tip options mean that you’ll have a comfortable and individual fit. The Earphones HD also features a multi-function button, this will allow you to do things like control music playback, answer and end phone calls, and even activate Google Assistant without ever touching your Essential Phone.
- Essential Earphones Mini; $49
- Essential Earphones HD; $99
- USB Type-C to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter; $15
- USB Type-C Fast Charger; $39
The funny thing with this is the Mini, it’s like a less feature-packed version of the HD? I’m not entirely sure how that’s being achieved, but from reading what Essential has on it I’d suspect that the driver in these is different.
Charge fast with the 27W Power Adapter and USB-C cable (1-meter / 3-feet). The compact size makes it easy to carry in your pocket or bag. So you can easily and quickly charge your Essential Phone around your home, at your office, or on the go. Up to 4 hours of battery life in 10 minutes.
One of the interesting accessories is the magnetic charging dock that will make use of the Essential pin to charge the device. It’s not currently available to purchase, but I’m been keen to see it in action.
