The pǒng case for the iPhone 6/6S/7/7+ aims to be a radiation protection case

Typically I try to focus my gadget research and interaction with Android related products, however, this case for the iPhone puzzled me a bit. It’s a case for the sole purpose of redirecting some of the radiation emission of your smartphone away from you while providing military drop protection. Intrigued? Well, you should keep on reading and see what our testers thought about it.

Since we don’t have any scientific instrument to verify the claims ourselves, we can only assume that due diligence has been completed on the product. You can visit pongcase.com to get more information on the technology being used.

A micro-thin antenna that redirects the cell phone radiation away from is built-into the case, which you can imagine is patented. It is said that the antenna will pair automatically with the antenna built-into the iPhone to dramatically reduce your exposure. Again, since we can’t test this ourselves will take this at face value. While testing, the users whom we’re using the case noticed an increase in their data reception when streaming. To test this out, I had one of the users who is used to being a dead zone in the country and while around the area could effectively get a slightly better reception and it would drop as early in the route. Could this have help? Maybe?

I don’t make any claims on that, however, it was interesting to note.

The back of the case is what captured the users using it. They liked the way it looked and the slim profile it gave made it great to use without the hefty bulk that some have.

The case offers your a slim profile, great drop protection as it fits tightly around your smartphone with the added radiation protection I think you have a great case. I do like the intricate design that the back of the case offers, it allows you to see the antenna that’s inside and gives it a unique pattern on the back of it.

The cost will leave you a bit of a sour taste in your mouth. Coming in at $39.99 USD for the majority of the cases upwards to $49.99 is a bit steep. That’s just my personal opinion on the subject, however, if you’d like to reduce the exposure to these emissions, this is for you. Visit www.pongcase.com if you’re interested in what they offer.
