Now that I have my home setup for all sorts of charging requirements I needed to find something to set myself up at the cottage. Since I had not had the pleasure of working with products with Aukey, it was the perfect time to put them to the test. Aukey Dual-Port Type-C and Quick Charge 3.0 port is the perfect thing to future proof myself for a while.

It was time to make sure I had something that I could just leave at the cottage and that would serve the purpose of charging 2 devices. I wanted the versatility of being able to charge microUSB devices and Type-C. Aukey offered the perfect opportunity to do so.

Devices that support Qualcomm current Quick Charge 3.0 would benefit a lot from this and this can be said of the any of the Quick Charge devices that use this technology. I also needed to take into account that Type-C devices are exploding all over the market and that this was the next step to move into. Aukey has made sure that built-in safeguards would keep your device quite safe while charging.

While testing the unit, I didn't find anything wrong. It provided the power output at the right levels for each device that was connected. The block charger didn't overheat out of control, neither did the devices I connected to it to charge.
