WiFi in the TTC platforms expanding to tunnels (Toronto) in 2018

Something the riders in the city of Toronto feel that is way overdue when it comes to WiFi coverages is expanding it to the tunnels so that you can stay connected while on the subway. This expansion which is planned in 2018 will push this beyond just the platforms.

According to Brad Ross TTC's spokesperson, we're going to be seeing in 2018 an expansion to the WiFi beyond just the subway platforms. It will cover the tunnels so that commuters can stay well connected while on their trip throughout the city.

I think this a great investment as long as it's maintained properly and installed in a way that prevents it from being compromised and safeguards against unauthorised access.
